Gana Dosha Cancellation

The customary Ashtkoot Gun matching/Horoscope matching (36 points) method based on the birth Moon Nakshatra, considers high weightage to the Gana koot matching which carries 6 points out of total Ashtkoot points of 36, nearly 16.7 %.

According to Vedic Astrology, all 27 Nakshatras are divided into 3 groups viz. Dev Gana having- Ashwini, Mrigashira, Punarvasu, Pushya, Hasta, Swati, Anuradha, Shravana & Revati, ; Manav Gana having- Bharani, Rohini, Ardra, Poorvaphalguni, Uttaraphalguni, Poorvashada, Uttarashada, Poorvabhadra & Uttarabhadra and Rakshas Gana having-Krittika, Ashlesha, Magha, Chitra, Vishakha, Jyeshtha, Moola, Dhanishtha & Shatabhisha, based on individual characteristics of each nakshatra.

Persons born under Rakshas Gana are generally considered short tempered and aggressive, stubborn, difficult to adapt, less sensitive with materialistic approach. Unfortunately, too much importance is given to this Gana koot matching as the person may also have similar matching qualities based on various other planets and their placements in the Ascendant horoscopes of both boy & girl.

• There is friendship of Moon sign Lords & difference between the Lords of Moon sign in Navmansa or Navanshpati.
• If No dosha exist related to Tara, Vashya, Yoni, Grahmaitri and Bhakoot
• If friendship between Moon rashi Lords and Nadi dosha does not exist.
